Zusammenfassung

Ein acht Jahre alter weiblich-kastrierter Kleiner Münsterländerwurde wegen einer geringgradigen gemischtenLahmheit vorne rechts vorgestellt. Klinische, röntgenologischeund computertomographische Untersuchungenergaben eine etwa kinderfaustgroße Masse kaudomedialauf Höhe des Schultergelenkspaltes, welche die Gelenkkapselin diesem Bereich betraf. Sie wurde operativ entferntund erwies sich intra operationem als intra-/extrakapsuläreFettgeschwulst, die histopathologisch als infiltrativ wachsendesLipom identifiziert wurde.

Intra-/extra-articular lipoma of the shoulder as a cause oflameness in a dog
Due to a mild, mixed lameness of the right foreleg, aneight-year-old spayed female Small Munsterlander waspresented to the Small Animal Clinic. Clinical examinations,as well as radiographic and computed tomographic diagnosticswere performed. A mass of approximately 4.3 x 4.5cm in size was identified lying caudomedial to the jointgap of the dog’s right shoulder. The joint capsule wasaffected. The mass was surgically removed and characterisedas intra-/extra-capsular fatty tumour. Histopathologicaldiagnosis revealed the tissue as being a well-differentiatedinfiltrative lipoma.
