Die mediale Bizepssehnenluxation infolge einer Rupturdes Ligamentum transversum humeri ist eine seltene undin der Literatur nur vereinzelt erwähnte Erkrankung beimHund, jedoch als mögliche Ursache für Lahmheiten derVordergliedmaße in Betracht zu ziehen. Vier Fälle sowiedrei bislang nicht genannte Methoden zur chirurgischenVersorgung werden beschrieben und die Ätiologie derErkrankung diskutiert.Summary
Medial displacement of the tendon of origin of the bicepsbrachii muscle in the dogMedial displacement of the tendon of origin of the bicepsbrachii muscle secondary to rupture of the transversehumeral ligament is a rare, and in the literature only sporadicallymentioned, illness in the dog. However, it has to beconsidered as a possible reason for forelimb lameness. Fourcases as well as three methods of the surgical treatmentnot mentioned previously are described and the aetiologyof the illness is discussed.
