Summary
The purpose of this case report is to present the case of a uterine cystadenoma (25 x 20 x 16 cm3) in a bitch. Cystadenoma is a very rare form of benign uterine neoplasia, which has only been described once before. The only clinical sign was a reddish brown mucous vaginal discharge and an increase in abdominal size, though this decreased after the end of oestrus. Abdominal ultrasonography did not reveal the tumour as being connected to any specific organ. Following ovariohysterectomy, the wound healing was without any complications.
