Zusammenfassung
Anomalien der Vena cava caudalis sind seltene Fehlbildungenbei Hunden. Meist werden diese Anomalien erst inVerbindung mit bildgebenden Verfahren, bei Laparotomienoder bei Sektionen als Zufallsbefund festgestellt. Sie sindselten mit einem klinischen Bild assoziiert. In diesem Fallberichtwird ein zweijähriger Rüde mit Ohnmachtsanfällenpräsentiert. In der Computertomographie konnte beidiesem Hund eine Aplasie der Vena cava caudalis diagnostiziertwerden.Summary
Computed tomographic imaging of caudal vena cava aplasia in a dogAnomalies of the caudal vena cava are rare malformationsin dogs. Most of these anomalies are incidental findingsduring diagnostic imaging, laparotomy or necropsy. Theyare rarely associated with clinical signs. A two-year-old maledog with syncope is presented here. Aplasia of the caudalvena cava was diagnosed by computed tomography in thisdog.
