In den Blutausstrichen wurden in ...","content":"<p><span class=\"bold\">Zusammenfassung<\/span><br \/>Im vorliegenden Fall wurde eine zehnj\u00e4hrige Katze mit den Symptomen Fieber, Anorexie, allgemeine Schw\u00e4che und H\u00e4maturie untersucht. Die h\u00e4matologische Untersuchung ergab eine An\u00e4mie, Thrombozytopenie und Leukopenie. In den Blutausstrichen wurden in den Erythrozyten <span class=\"bold\">Babesiacanis<\/span>- \u00e4hnliche runde Strukturen gefunden. Mithilfe der PCR-Technik wurde das genetische Material \u201318S RNA (559 Basenpaare [bp]) von <span class=\"bold\">Babesia<\/span> spp. nachgewiesen Die Sequenz des PCR-Produkts zeigte eine Homologie von 87 % mit<span class=\"bold\"> Babesia (B.) felis<\/span> und 95 % mit <span class=\"bold\">B. canis canis<\/span>. Die Katze wurde mit Imidocarbdipropionat erfolgreich behandelt. The haematological examination revealed anaemia, thrombocytopenia and leucopenia. Blood smears showed round structures in erythrocytes similar to<span class=\"bold\"> Babesia (B.) canis<\/span>. The PCR reaction detected genetic material of 18S RNA (559 bp) of <span class=\"bold\">Babesia<\/span> spp. which showed 87% homology with <span class=\"bold\">B. felis<\/span> and 95% with <span class=\"bold\">B. canis canis<\/span>. The treatment of the cat with imidocarb dipropionate resulted in full recovery of the animal.
