Klinisch wiesen beide<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>Hunde eine Pododermatitis auf. Der Cocker Spaniel zeigte<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>zudem Hautl\u00e4sionen am Abdomen und eine Hyperkeratose<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>des Nasenspiegels. Hauptbefunde der Blutuntersuchung<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>waren erh\u00f6hte Leberenzyme und verminderte Serumalbuminwerte.<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>Die pr\u00e4prandialen Gallens\u00e4uren lagen jeweils im<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>Normbereich. Bei der Ultraschalluntersuchung stellte sich<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>das Leberparenchym bei beiden Tieren hochgradig diffus<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>inhomogen und waben\u00e4hnlich dar. Die Diagnose wurde<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>mittels pathohistologischer Untersuchung von Leberstanzbiopsien<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>und Hautbiopsien gestellt. Das hepatokutane<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>Syndrom bezeichnet eine nekrolytische Dermatitis, die mit<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>einer Erkrankung der Leber vergesellschaftet ist. An ultrasonographic<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>examination of the dogs\u2019 abdomens showed diffuse<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>heterogeneous echogenicity of the liver parenchyma,<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>giving rise to a honeycomb-like appearance. The diagnosis<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>was confirmed by pathohistological examination of liver<span class=\"bold\"> <\/span>and skin biopsies.
