The true prevalence at species level was 1.74% (95% CI: 1–2.47%) for cows, 0.58% (95% CI: 0–1.78%) for buffaloes, 3.27% (95% CI: 1.74–4.81%) for sheep, and 1.65% (95% CI: 0–3.39%) for goats. The true prevalence of large ruminants was 1.057% (95% CI: 1.055–1.059%) and for small ruminants it was 2.64% (95% CI: 2.60–2.67%).
