Lack of significant differences between both species was established, but such depending on breed related intensity of growth were registered. The elimination rate and total body clearance for part of investigated substances slowed down in meat-type breeds having intense growth. These changes depend on increase of weight gain and age. It is assumed that the changes are characteristic for turkeys, and meat-type chickens, but not for chicken breeds for eggs which grow considerably slower and do not accumulate muscle mass intensively. These relations are characteristic for substances excreted mainly by glomerular filtration but not for those that are mainly subject of tubular secretion. a0005-9366
