  abstract = {The greenhouse tomato industry relies entirely on the use of bumblebees for  pollination. While honeybees are not very effective in tomato, bumblebees do an  excellent job. Bumblebees are produced in factories under completely controlled  conditions and without contact with the outdoor environment. Since bumblebees are sensitive to chemical pesticides, they have to be used in combination with biological crop protection products. Nowadays bumblebees are an indispensable part in the chain of producing safe and high quality tomatoes year round.},
